Sitting at the corner of Central Ave and Decatur St. since 1956 this place was, and still is, a historical landmark for us. Walter and Estelle was a special and powerful force that treated everyone with the respect you deserved regardless of race.
I bought my first pair of Filas, white and navy blue, and my @deionsanders Diamond Turfs from here as a kid in the early 90s….
Salute to Big Pat for holding Walters down. That store should be passed down to him if it hasn’t already…that would be dope.
